Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve deli products, including meats, cheeses, and prepared foods.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their selections.
- Maintain a clean and organized deli display case.
- Restock deli items as needed and assist with inventory management.
- Operate deli equipment, including slicers and scales, safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and promote specials.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
