Grievance and Appeals Coordinator Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $23.00 per Hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Grievance and Appeals Coordinator Highlights

  • The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday from 8AM – 6PM (8 Hour Shift)

Grievance and Appeals Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Speaking with members, documenting, researching (utilizing different material and navigating through systems, reaching out to providers & members, communicating with internal and external parties),
  • Analyze and resolve verbal and written claims and authorization appeals from providers and pursue resolution of formal grievances from members.
  • Formulating responses in writing to members (writing skills are extremely important for this role),
  • Will need to meet deadlines.
  • Time management plays a key part in this role

Grievance and Appeals Coordinator Requirements

  • 2+ years grievance or appeals, claims or related managed care experience
  • Analytical and Research Savvy
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
