Grievance and Appeals Coordinator Compensation
- The pay for this position is $23.00 per Hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Grievance and Appeals Coordinator Highlights
- The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday from 8AM – 6PM (8 Hour Shift)
Grievance and Appeals Coordinator Responsibilities
- Speaking with members, documenting, researching (utilizing different material and navigating through systems, reaching out to providers & members, communicating with internal and external parties),
- Analyze and resolve verbal and written claims and authorization appeals from providers and pursue resolution of formal grievances from members.
- Formulating responses in writing to members (writing skills are extremely important for this role),
- Will need to meet deadlines.
- Time management plays a key part in this role
Grievance and Appeals Coordinator Requirements
- 2+ years grievance or appeals, claims or related managed care experience
- Analytical and Research Savvy
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
