Job Title: Team Lead - Shift Supervisor
Location: Ankeny, IA, Onsite
Long term contract
Shift Information: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM; minimal overtime expected
Work Environment: Onsite only; position spends approximately 80% of the day on the shop floor; metatarsal safety shoes required on the first day
You will supervise a wage workforce to meet manufacturing priorities based on the production schedule. You’ll foster a collaborative, safety-focused work environment, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure your team has the resources to succeed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience with, or supporting, shop floor manufacturing
- Demonstrated team leadership skills
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and across shifts based on production needs
- Experience communicating across functions (such as supply management, engineering, operations, human resources)
Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent related work experience
