Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Modesto, CA

Pay Rate: $28 – $32/hour
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Technician to support a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment. This role is responsible for maintaining building systems, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring overall facility operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Building Systems & Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and facility equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, failures, and safety concerns
- Complete basic repairs including filter changes, minor leaks, lighting replacements, and equipment adjustments
- Monitor building systems and report issues promptly
Operations Support
- Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely manner to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot routine facility issues and escalate complex problems when necessary
- Participate in emergency response procedures and on-call rotations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical and storage areas
- Perform general upkeep such as painting, carpentry, and minor repairs
Coordination & Documentation
- Support third-party vendors during maintenance and service visits
- Accurately document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
- Track inventory of tools, parts, and supplies
- Recommend improvements to maintenance processes and safety practices
Compliance & Communication
- Follow all safety protocols, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and vendors
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- 6–12 months of experience in facilities or building maintenance
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to perform minor repairs and troubleshoot maintenance issues
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
