About the Opportunity:

Direct Counsel is seeking a Class Action Associate Attorney to join a highly regarded plaintiff-side law firm based in Beverly Hills. This firm is dedicated to advocating for employees' rights and has a strong track record of handling complex employment disputes, particularly in class action litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Case Management: Manage class action cases from inception to resolution, including legal research, drafting pleadings, and trial preparation.
• Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
• Legal Research & Writing: Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents with a strong analytical approach.
• Discovery: Handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to requests and preparing for depositions.
• Court Appearances: Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in class action litigation, preferably in employment law.
• Licensure: Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of class action procedures and litigation strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
