We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Painter to join our growing team.

Position Overview:
As an Auto Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, refinishing, and painting vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vehicles and parts for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.

  • Mix and match paint colors to achieve an exact match.

  • Apply paint using spray guns and other refinishing tools.

  • Inspect and finish painted surfaces for quality and consistency.

  • Maintain painting equipment and work area in clean, organized condition.

  • Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of auto body painting experience preferred (will consider strong candidates with less experience).

  • Knowledge of refinishing techniques, paint systems, and blending.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Essential physical requirements include:

  • Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, squat, and pull.

  • Extended periods of bending, kneeling, squatting, and stooping.

  • Lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.

  • Standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods.

  • Performing repetitive motions with hands and arms.

  • Visual acuity for precise color matching and detail work.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position involves regular exposure to:

  • Automotive paints, fumes, and airborne particles.

  • Dirt and dust.

  • Chemicals and potential toxins (with required PPE provided).

  • Varying temperatures (heat/cold).

  • Intermittent noise levels typical of a body shop environment.
