Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Labor worker to join our recycling center team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of recycling processes

Assist with the loading and unloading of materials using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and surrounding facilities to ensure a safe environment.
Conduct heavy lifting tasks involving recyclable materials or waste components as required.
Support the sorting process by separating recyclables from non-recyclables accurately.
Assist Customers with their recycling
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Skills

Experience operating loaders, excavators, forklifts, front loader trucks, roll-off trucks, or garbage trucks is highly desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail for sorting recyclables accurately.
Good communication skills for teamwork and safety reporting.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with a positive attitude.
