Job Summary (List Format): Cath Lab Tech (26 Weeks)
\n - Position: Cath Lab Tech
\n - Contract Duration: 26 weeks
\n - Facility: Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center, Magnet Hospital, 562 beds
\n - Shift: 3x12 hour days (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
\n - Weekend Requirement: 2-3 weekends per contract
\n - On-Call Requirement: Yes, rotating with staff and agency; call details discussed with manager; dedicated call team
\n - Floating: No floating required
\n - Block Schedule: Schedule requests can be discussed with manager
\n - Guaranteed Hours: May be called off up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without pay; on-call in lieu of call-off counts as a called-off shift
\n - Local Candidates: Accepted, no radius restriction
\n - Pending License: Not accepted; must have active license to apply
\n - RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
\n - First-Time Travelers: Accepted
\n - Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS
\n - Experience Required: Minimum 1 year

\n - Interventional Cardiac Cath lab
\n - Required Procedure Skills/Experience:
\n - Cardiac Implant Closure Device
\n - Cardiac Stent Placement
\n - Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult)
\n - IABP Placement/Removal
\n - Interpretation of dysrhythmias
\n - Left/Right heart catheterization
\n - Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
\n - Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)
\n - Rotablader athrectomy
\n - Scrub Procedures
\n - Procedural Responsibility Skills:
\n - Equipment setup
\n - Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
\n - Infection Control Skills:
\n - Isolation Precautions
\n - Sterile Technique
\n - Age Specific Competency: Middle and Older Adults
\n - Charting System: Cerner experience required
\n - Scrub Color: Provided by facility
\n - Parking: Free with permit (form completed during orientation)
