Symphony Manor is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Supervisor to assist with the daily operations of our Dining Services Department. This leadership role is responsible for assistance with planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the team that provides exceptional nutritional care and dining experiences for our residents.

Position Overview:
The Dietary Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the Dining Department, ensuring high-quality meal service, food safety, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service. This position provides leadership to dining staff while maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment and supporting the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents.
• Assist the food service team, including supervising dietary staff, managing schedules, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Oversees the daily operations of the dining service department including the kitchen, food storage areas, and dining room.

Regularly interacts and communicates with residents regarding meal service.

Ensures proper preparation, maintenance, and service of food in accordance with State rules and regulations to ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, and compliant with all health and safety regulations.

Ensure food safety management practices are followed rigorously in line with health regulation policies and health code compliance standards.

Conducts in-service programs for dietary and facility staff upon request.

Evaluates the performance of all Dietary staff members.

Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures

Adheres to state regulations, current best practices, policies, and procedures for food preparation and meal service.
· Must abide by Symphony Manor’s code of conduct, corporate compliance and HIPAA policies.
Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree or higher in Food Service Management OR Certified Dietary Supervisor, OR Certified Food Service Supervisor.

Working knowledge of ACF regulations as they relate to food service.

Three years' supervisory experience in a food service setting

Computer skills and knowledge in nutritional software programs
This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

The rate for this position falls between $60,000 and $65,000 per year. Exact placement within this range is determined in good faith based on a candidate's relevant overall experience.
