    \n

  • Coaching Philosophy\n

Piedmont Elite is interested in developing complete athletes.

    \n

We believe good coaching requires more than prescribing workouts. Coaches should understand why an athlete is doing something, teach proper movement and technique, monitor development, communicate effectively, and adjust training when necessary.

    \n

We want coaches who are willing to learn, exchange ideas, and work within a collaborative coaching environment.

    \n

Athlete health and long-term development come before chasing a time, medal, ranking, or championship.

    \n

The Person Who Will Fit Best\n

You may be a good fit if you:

    \n

      \n
    • Enjoy teaching as much as competing
    • \n

    • Can coach both talented athletes and athletes who are still developing
    • \n

    • Hold athletes accountable without tearing them down
    • \n

    • Are comfortable receiving feedback from other coaches
    • \n

    • Show up when you say you will
    • \n

    • Care about the person behind the performance
    • \n

    • Want to help build a growing track program rather than simply attach your name to one
    • \n

    \n

  • Location\n

Practices and competitions are primarily based in the Rock Hill / Fort Mill / Charlotte area, with travel to selected meets during the competitive season.

    \n

    Position Type\n

    Assistant Track & Field Coach

    \n

Scheduling and coaching responsibilities will be determined based on experience, event specialty, availability, and the needs of the club.
