Job DescriptionReal Estate Finance Associate Attorney – New York or Miami
Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate to join a highly respected Am Law firm in either New York or Miami. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate to join a sophisticated real estate finance practice representing lenders and borrowers in complex commercial real estate transactions.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of transactional real estate experience, including experience handling commercial real estate finance matters. Candidates with experience representing institutional lenders, borrowers, developers, and investors in financing and acquisition transactions are strongly encouraged to apply.
Qualified candidates will possess:
- 3–5 years of transactional real estate experience, with a focus on real estate finance and/or commercial real estate
- Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in sophisticated transactions
- Experience reviewing and analyzing customary due diligence materials, including title and survey matters, corporate formation documents, SNDAs, and construction-related documentation
- Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and client management abilities
- Admission to the New York or Florida Bar, depending on office location

Compensation is highly competitive, with an anticipated salary range of approximately $235,000–$365,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and office location.
