Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager with a strong background in Information Security program management. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of program management expertise, exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to deliver large-scale security initiatives. This role requires a results-driven professional with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage complex programs, and present effectively to executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale information security programs.
Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational strategy.
Manage program budgets, timelines, dependencies, and risks across multiple workstreams.
Establish and maintain governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
Information Security Leadership
Drive security-related initiatives such as Identity & Access Management (IAM/CIAM), SIEM implementation/enhancements, and compliance programs.
Collaborate with security architects, engineers, and operations teams to ensure program outcomes meet security and regulatory requirements.
Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, risks, and regulations to influence program direction.
Stakeholder & Executive Management
Serve as the primary liaison between business, technical teams, and senior executives.
Facilitate effective communication of program goals, risks, and achievements to stakeholders.
Build strong relationships across IT, business units, and external vendors.
Reporting & Presentations
Develop and deliver executive-level presentations summarizing program status, risks, and key decisions.
Provide concise dashboards, metrics, and progress reports to leadership and stakeholders.
Ensure transparent communication to enable informed decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of Program/Project Management experience, preferably in Information Security or IT Risk Management.
Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale programs in regulated environments (e.g., financial services, healthcare, technology).
Strong knowledge of information security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.).
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for reporting and executive presentations.
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Experience managing vendors and third-party service providers.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent program management certification.
CISSP, CISM, or similar information security certification.
Experience working in financial services, insurance, or large enterprise IT.
Knowledge of CIAM, SIEM, or security transformation programs is a strong plus.
