Position Overview: The SharePoint Administrator will serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) responsible for the administration, development, and sustainment of the SharePoint Online environment and associated data systems supporting the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) and acquisition functions. This role ensures the integrity, security, usability, and long-term viability of contract and procurement data while supporting reporting, analytics, and system integration efforts across Microsoft 365 platforms.

General Duties:
SharePoint Administration & Maintenance
- Administer, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online site collections, libraries, lists, and permissions.
- Ensure compliance with organizational governance, security, and data management policies.
- Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and implement enhancements to optimize usability and reliability.
Database Development & Data Management
- Design, develop, and maintain data structures including tables, forms, queries, dashboards, and reports.
- Manage and update SharePoint lists/libraries and SQL-based databases to support acquisition and contracting requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across systems.
Workflow Automation & Power Platform Development
- Develop and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Support and troubleshoot legacy workflows developed in SharePoint Designer.
- Debug and resolve issues in existing applications, scripts, and tools.
Reporting & Data Analytics
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and other analytics tools.
- Conduct trend analyses on contract actions, obligations, and expenditures.
- Provide actionable insights and respond to ad hoc data requests from stakeholders.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for system updates and enhancements.
- Validate system outputs to ensure compliance with data standards, accuracy, and reliability.
Data Extraction & Validation
- Extract, transform, and validate procurement data from systems such as PRISM and other contract writing systems.
- Ensure completeness, consistency, and reliability of datasets used for reporting and decision-making.
Transition & Data Migration Support
- Support migration to future contract writing and financial management systems.
- Develop and maintain legacy data repositories to preserve historical records.
- Ensure seamless access to archived data and continuity of operations.
Collaboration & Integration
- Partner with OCFO stakeholders to design and implement SharePoint-based business solutions.
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook.
- Support collaboration tools that enhance acquisition workflows and productivity.
Documentation & Training
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide end-user training and support to ensure adoption and effective use of systems.
Continuous Improvement & Advisory Support
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Provide SME-level advisory support for SharePoint, database, and reporting solutions.
- Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for innovation in data management and collaboration tools.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience administering SharePoint Online in a Microsoft 365 environment.
- Strong experience with:
- SharePoint Online architecture and administration
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps)
- SQL Server or other SQL-based systems
- Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, data analysis)
- Experience supporting federal acquisition or financial management environments preferred.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PRISM or other federal contract writing systems.
- Familiarity with federal procurement processes and data structures.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified, Power Platform, Azure).
- Experience supporting system migrations or enterprise platform transitions.
