We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals within their homes ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your responsibilities will include:
Services
*Assistance with activities of daily living
-Dressing
-Toileting
-Feeding
-Mobility
-Bathing
*Light meal preparation
*Light housekeeping
*Transportation services
*Medication Reminders
*Companionship
Providing care to those with specific needs such as dementia. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about caregiving and making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and daily living activities to promote independence.
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs while ensuring nutritional requirements are met.
- Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass a background check
- Vehicle with valid insurance
- TB test before start date
- CPR certification before start date
- Previous experience in caregiving or personal care assistance preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with dementia is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including assisting with transfers and mobility.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
