Prime Response Inc is seeking a full time Logistics Materiel Control Activity (LMCA) Chief/Eglin Project Manager to support our long-term US Air Force customer onsite at Eglin AFB.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage PRI’s LMCA and Construction Attendant contracts
- Supervise all functions of LMCA to meet performance thresholds identified in Service Summaries and perform oversight of Construction Attendant Lead. LMCA Chief will have the authority to act on Team PRI’s behalf for all operational issues and activities.
- Perform on-going evaluation of business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement positive transformation.
- Implements Quality Control Plan to ensure compliance with PWS, material management, safety, and security policies.
- Evaluate personnel performance and address deficiencies to ensure understanding of approach and desired results.
- Implement and enforce contract Safety Plans.
- Recruit for open positions and guide training for new personnel.
- Liaise with key government personnel in the performance of duties to professionally represent PRI, stay up-to-date with customer operations to best serve clients.
- Project a positive, professional image of PRI to our clients through competent, informed, and responsive support to all aspects of service delivery.
- Provides full-time on-site management of all contract activities in accordance with Air Force Regulations.
- Provides oversight to administrative and industrial operations, ensuring workflow and prioritization are appropriately assigned.
- Oversees all scheduled activities to ensure all contract activities are done on time and to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Performs Metrics Gathering and Analysis, including identifying key quality metrics that help us identify processes or personnel that require a second look.
- Oversees process improvement on processes needing refreshing and personnel improvement plans for personnel requiring improvements in performance.
- Provides proactive process development for new systems and AF processes, for example documenting DPAS SOPs and impacts to performance efficiencies with new systems.
- Ensure personnel maintain currency with recurring mandatory training, in addition to executing an internal training program which provides capability depth.
- Supervises and performs personnel assessments, including counseling and submitting incentive requests.
- The LMCA Chief will be appointed to act as Primary Equipment Custodian for equipment in accordance with Air Force Regulations.
- Ensures equipment accountability, including overseeing inventories.
- Manages the Report of Survey program for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed property for items listed on equipment records.
- Monitors workflow within functional areas and allocates personnel as required to remain current with work.
- Produces monthly report consisting of workload metrics, performance-based metrics which measure compliance with contract deliverables and/or service summaries, and highlights of major projects and accomplishments.
- Executes personnel cost control, including PTO management to ensure folks use PTO.
Requirements
- 10 years of Air Force leadership and management in property accountability, material management, or related discipline is highly desired.
- Knowledge & experience in a service-based environment.
- Strong customer focus, willingness & ability to meet customer expectations.
- Must have knowledge of:
- Material accounting procedures
- Principles of inventory control
- Concepts of logistics planning and management techniques
- Fundamentals of distribution
- Storage and receipt management of property
- A broad understanding of an interrelated chain of activities involving logistics
- Standard base supply system, or its equivalent, and knowledge of the controls, programs, and interface capabilities of automated data processing systems to edit transactions and properly code requisitions.
- Strong and demonstratable leadership style and track record of overseeing successful operations
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer systems and office software such as Microsoft Office is required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Exceptional client interaction skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Applicants must be eligible to receive a DoD Secret security clearance.
