Boulder Trail Dental is an independent, two dentist practice in Hermantown, MN. We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join Boulder Trail Dental. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner. Our preferred candidate availability for this position is Wednesday (AM/PM), Thursday (AM/PM) and Friday (AM).
Duties
- Conduct dental cleanings, including scaling/root planing, and polishing
- Administer fluoride treatment as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide other relevant educational information regarding oral hygiene
- Take radiographs (BWX, PA, Pano, CBCT)
- Perform periodontal charting
- Administer local anesthetic
- Maintain sterilization and infection control during procedures and equipment
- Maintain patient records and medical histories accurately
- Create a comforting environment for every patient
- Collaborate with dentists and teammates to co-diagnose and individualize treatment
