We are seeking talented and hands-onWeb Application Developers
to join our development team. This role requires a skilled engineer ready to contribute to technical design, execution, and quality across our core platforms.


The ideal candidates have proven technical skills and are ready to apply them to high-impact projects. They should specialize inmodern backend languages, event streaming platforms, a modern frontend framework, and a major public cloud platform. Experience specifically with Python, Node.js, Apache Kafka, Angular, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is strongly preferred.


Responsibilities

Technical Design & Development

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and resilient microservices using modern backend languages such as Python and Node.js, primarily within Google Cloud Platform.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and ensure solutions align with established architectural standards.
  • Implement and optimize an event streaming or messaging platform (e.g., Apache Kafka or an equivalent system such as Amazon Kinesis or RabbitMQ) for real-time data ingestion and event-driven architecture.
  • Develop and maintain robust, performance-optimized single-page applications using a component-based JavaScript framework, Angular preferred, though experience with other major frameworks (React, Vue.js) is acceptable.
  • Perform high-quality code reviews, ensuring best practices in testing, security, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks across the full stack.

Engineering Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to define technical requirements, provide accurate effort estimates, and plan execution for feature delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and engineering tools.

    • Available work location:
      • Fort Lauderdale, Florida, US
      • Employment Status:
        • Candidates must be willing to work from our office in person (no remote).
        • If candidates apply for the US location, they must be allowed to work in the US (US Citizen, Permanent Resident)
    • Experience:
      • 3-5 years of professional software development/coding experience.
    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Communication:
      • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are mandatory for technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
    • Core Technology Expertise:
      • Proficiency in a major public cloud platform, with mandatory expertise in GCP or equivalent hands-on experience with AWS or Azure. Experience must include compute, messaging, and data storage services.
      • Expert-level proficiency in a modern object-oriented language (Python and NodeJS strongly preferred).
      • Extensive experience with a modern component-based JavaScript framework, with Angular preferred (or demonstrable expertise in React or Vue.js).
    • Technical Foundation: Strong understanding of software architecture, microservices, containerization (including Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD best practices.

    Preferred

    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) managing cloud resources.
    • Experience with data stream like Kafka is a plus.
    • Prior experience in the Satellite, or Telecom industry.
