We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Live-In Caregiver to join our team and provide high-quality care to elderly residents in a warm, residential setting.
The ideal candidate is patient, professional, attentive, and comfortable assisting seniors with their daily needs while helping maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable home environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide assistance with meals, hydration, and daily routines
- Observe residents and communicate changes in condition, behavior, or care needs to management
- Follow established care plans and facility procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, coworkers, hospice providers, and other care professionals
- Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and comfortable living environment
- Provide companionship, reassurance, and respectful support to residents
- Work cooperatively with other caregivers and management to provide consistent, high-quality care
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, personal care, senior care, or related experience preferred
- Experience working in an RCFE, assisted living, memory care, or residential care setting is a plus
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and care plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers
- Ability to maintain resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
- Reliable and committed to providing excellent care
