The Lube Technician's responsibilities include preparing detailed vehicle service reports, replacing vehicle wiper blades and car batteries, and changing motor oil as well as transmission and brake fluid as needed. You should also be able to keep vehicle interiors clean while performing maintenance and servicing tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough multipoint inspections

Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency in accordance with dealership and/or Ford standards

Preform lube, oil and filter changes, tire rotations and fluid top-off, mounting and balancing

Explain recommendations in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers

Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions in order to advance career and stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.

Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks

Requirements

General knowledge of automobiles

Hold a valid driver???s license

Basic computer skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are not required

Take and Maintain current Ford training

Hold a valid driver???s license

Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service

Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
