Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to support the Shipping Department. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Duties
- Enter and update shipping and order information accurately.
- Prepare shipping documents, labels, and related paperwork.
- Schedule and confirm carrier pickups.
- Contact carriers to check shipment and delivery status.
- Follow up on delayed or missing shipments.
- Update tracking information in the system.
- Assist with shipping discrepancies and other logistics-related issues.
- Provide general administrative support to the Shipping Department.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Communicate with carriers and internal teams to help ensure timely deliveries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or data entry is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Good communication skills and comfortable making phone calls.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience working with FedEx, UPS, LTL, or other freight carriers is a plus.
