Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team in daily office operations. This is a part-time, in-office role ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and eager to contribute to a collaborative legal environment. Prior administrative or legal experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and office staff.
- Answer phones, greet clients, and handle general inquiries professionally.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
- Prepare, proofread, and organize documents and correspondence.
- Maintain and update client files and records.
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Manage office supplies and handle incoming/outgoing mail.
- Support other office functions as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Prior administrative experience preferred; legal office experience a plus.
- High school diploma required; associates degree or coursework in business/administration preferred.
Schedule and Compensation
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (part-time schedule; specific hours to be determined).
- Compensation: Hourly rate based on experience.
