Role Description The Behavioral Health Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Citra, FL and tampa. This team member provides direct support to clients, assists with implementing behavior plans, and helps maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. Daily responsibilities include monitoring client behavior, documenting observations and progress notes, supporting group and individual interventions, and following established treatment protocols under the guidance of licensed clinicians. The role also involves assisting with crisis prevention and de-escalation, supporting daily living activities as appropriate, collaborating with clinical staff during team meetings, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, or human services settings is beneficial.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation, follow clinical instructions, and adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Capacity to remain calm under pressure, use nonviolent crisis intervention techniques, and support trauma-informed care approaches.
- Reliable attendance, willingness to work assigned shifts (including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed), and ability to meet any background check and health clearance requirements.
