We’re looking for an experienced Tree Climber to join our professional tree service team. The ideal candidate will have strong climbing skills, knowledge of tree removal and pruning techniques, and a dedication to safety and teamwork. This role involves working at heights, using ropes and rigging systems, and operating chainsaws and other power equipment to safely perform tree care tasks.
Key Responsibilities

Safely climb, prune, and remove trees using ropes, saddles, and climbing gear.

Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other equipment.

Perform rigging and lowering operations for large limbs and tree sections.

Inspect trees for hazards, decay, and structural issues.

Maintain all climbing and safety equipment.

Work as part of a crew under the supervision of a crew leader or foreman.

Follow all OSHA and company safety standards at all times.
Qualifications

Prior tree climbing or arborist experience required.

Strong understanding of tree care, pruning, and removal techniques.

Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.

Must be physically fit and comfortable working at heights.

Driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required).

Must have a strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork attitude.
