Software Developer – Rust
Overview

Responsibilities
- Participate on developing back-end services or APIs using frameworks like Actix or Rocket.
- Create blockchain or crypto-related software.
- Contributing to open-source projects.
- Optimize performance-critical applications.
- Work with teams in testbed environments and development labs.
- All other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience of object-oriented software development experience.
- Experienced with the Rust programming language and can build reliable, efficient, and safe applications.
- Knowledge and experience of memory safety without garbage collection.
- Knowledge and experience with JAVA, C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with large government software infrastructure
- Experiences with Microsoft 365: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas and concepts in both written and oral form
Clearance:
- A current DoD secret or higher, clearance.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5-10 years of experience.
Location:
- Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.
- Monday-Friday. Schedule flexing is available with the PM’s and customer approval.
