Treasure Valley Trailers has an opening for a Sales Associate in Nampa, Idaho
We sell trailers and trailer parts and accessories. We also provide repairs and maintenance for trailers. We are a small team of people who work together to get things done! While we do have specialized roles, everyone does a bit of everything. Good communication and a high level of motivation are essential for this team. We have big goals, and we plan to achieve them.

Sales Associate Job Summary:Responsible to facilitate the trailer purchase experience by providing knowledge and guiding decision making while ensuring a positive customer experience.
Essential Functions
- Drive a strong and positive working environment with clear communication and follow-up across the retail team to achieve personal and team goals.
- Greet customers, answer questions, demonstrate features/benefits, and guide them through the entire sales process, from selecting a trailer to completing paperwork and payment. (Customers may call, send messages, or walk into the retail store.) Teach customers to operate and maintain their new trailers.
- Negotiate sales prices and discounts with customers. Set trade-in value when necessary. Create and present quotes to customers retaining established margin expectations.
- Process payments, complete sales contracts, and process financing options.
- Complete data entry and maintain customer accounts and orders with accuracy in our Point of Sales system.
- Ensure that all licensing paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner and resolve problems with licensing paperwork as they arise.
- Manage and strengthen customer relationships through follow up and resolution of any concerns that arise.
- Stay current with supply, demand, and trends in the trailer industry; always growing product knowledge.
- Take responsibility for the aesthetic by maintaining a clean internal and external showroom.
- Drive parts sales and service offerings at the retail location.

Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent demonstrated skills, abilities, and knowledge through practical application.
- Industrial sales experience, preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and motivate the sales team.
- Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visual, and related software.
- Highly motivated self-starter with an inclination to consistently apply critical and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and lift in order to demonstrate trailer components, and connecting trailers to vehicles to move.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions on retail trailer lots.
