Job Summary:
The Facility Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning, minor maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that buildings and equipment are in good condition. This role requires a broad skill set including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work. This role will occasionally assist in the warehouse.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
- Sweep, mop & vacuum
- Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in the building
- Fix doors, windows, drywall, flooring, and fixtures
- Replace light bulbs, filters, and other consumables
- Assist with painting, carpentry, and minor renovations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Coordinate with external contractors when needed
