Looking for fun, high energy Shift Manager/ Baker who wants to join a fun ice cream sandwich concept at Sawgrass Mills Mall! The Baked Bear at Sawgrass is the first in Florida (www.thebakedbear.com) and we couldn't be more excited to expand our amazing team! Room for growth, as we plan to open up multiple stores around South Florida!
- Hire and train all new employees, according to company policies
- Bake cookies according to store procedures
- Assist Bakery Manager with mixing cookies, according to company's recipes
- Manages and fulfills all delivery orders and ensure order accuracy
- Must have an open availability and able to work, as needed
- Greets customers in a courteous manner as they enter the store
- Applies knowledge of the company products and assists customers through the ordering process
- Manages Team Members
- Takes orders and prepares menu items promptly and in accordance with customer requests.
- Applies knowledge of food handling requirements
- Operates the POS system and cash register properly with each transaction
- Responsible for keeping the counters and surrounding areas clean using proper cleaning procedures
- Ensures store is compliant with health regulations and standards at all times and follows safety procedures.
- Open and close the store, as needed, in accordance with store operations guidelines
- Assist with Marketing and Catering orders
- Obtain ServSafe Certification
- Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- You must be professional, punctual, and demonstrate exceptional customer service and multi-tasking skills.
- Great Leadership skills
- Bubbly, outgoing personality and positive attitude
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Able to resolve conflicts quickly and effectively
- Excellent customer service skills
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended period of time
- Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
