As a 3rd Shift Electrical/Electronic Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and systems.
  • Set up and repair machinery components and sub-components including:
    • High-pressure steam, water, air, hydraulic, and gas lines
    • Piping and tubing
  • Diagnose mechanical issues, disassemble components, and perform necessary repairs and adjustments.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.


II. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

In addition to primary responsibilities, the position may:

  • Install general facility lighting and, once qualified, perform electrical installations and wiring.
  • Assist with machine repairs and rebuilds of sub-components.
  • Maintain and repair building structures and facility systems.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks including welding, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Provide support to Production Department when approved by supervisors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


III. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Vocational or Technical School training preferred.
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems or electronic controls is a plus.


IV. REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Maintain an acceptable level of attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be a team player with strong communication skills.


V. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, skill saw, etc.).
  • Must be comfortable climbing ladders, walking, and standing for extended periods on concrete floors.
  • Must be able to lift [insert weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs] and perform physically demanding tasks.
