Job Description
Position Overview
\n
P3 Services is a PE-backed home services platform operating plumbing, HVAC, and related trades across 15+ operating companies nationwide. Our marketing function is lean, high-ownership, and built around one thing: leads that turn into booked jobs and revenue for operators who depend on us.
\n
\n
As the Marketing Specialist, you’ll be responsible for lead volume across a portfolio of businesses across the country. Not one brand in one market. Multiple companies, multiple markets, with a dedicated team behind you owning their piece of the channel mix.
\n
\n
The role runs on two tracks. The first is analytical: daily performance pulls, trend identification, channel monitoring, and knowing before anyone else when something is off. The second is relational: translating that data into clear recommendations and showing up to OpCo conversations as a trusted marketing partner, not just a report.
\n
\n
You’ll work within a structured, high-visibility team that values independent thinking and direct communication. Autonomy is real here. So is accountability.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
\n
- \n
- Monitor daily lead performance across your OpCos by source, flag anomalies early, and identify which companies need the most attention each day.
- Prepare and present at the weekly OpCo Lead Review, covering leads, spend, booked jobs, booking rate, revenue, and ROAS.
- Facilitate monthly performance reviews for priority OpCos and produce monthly summary communications for others, with quarterly check-ins.
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
OpCo Relationship Management
\n
- \n
- Serve as the day-to-day marketing point of contact for OpCo leadership and office teams.
- Translate marketing performance data into plain-language insights and actionable recommendations for non-marketing audiences.
- Set and maintain clear communication boundaries with OpCo staff, with support from Marketing Leadership as needed.
- Bring data and a recommendation to every OpCo conversation. Status updates alone are not sufficient.
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Channel Coordination and Campaign Support
\n
- \n
- Monitor performance across paid and organic channels including, but not limited to, Google Ads, LSA, pay-per-call, lead aggregators, SEO/GBP, etc. , coordinating with vendors and channel specialists to address gaps and opportunities.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal team members to ensure timely execution of campaigns and initiatives.
\n
\n
\n
\n
Investigative and Strategic Work
\n
- \n
- Conduct deeper investigative work: competitive research, customer experience, and website and content analysis.
- Identify opportunities for channel reallocation, budget adjustments, or new initiatives and bring recommendations to the team review.
- Support larger cross-functional initiatives and projects as needed.
- Stay current on platform updates and industry trends that affect home services marketing performance.
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
What You Don't Own
\n
- \n
- Channel execution. We leverage agency partners and contractors to support the execution.
- Budget decisions. Those go through Marketing Leadership as well as P&L and accounting work.
- The filter for anything that lands on your plate: does this directly serve lead generation or operator relationship health in my accounts? If not, it's probably not yours.
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Requirements
\n
- \n
- 3+ years of marketing experience in home services (plumbing, HVAC, electrical) with direct exposure to Google Ads, LSA, and local search performance or 5+ years multi-location or franchise marketing with demonstrated accountability to lead volume or revenue outcomes, not just campaign execution.
- Proven experience working across a portfolio of brands or locations simultaneously, each with its own market dynamics and stakeholders.
- Enough channel fluency to diagnose a performance problem, route it to the right person, and follow through to resolution — you don't need to run the accounts, you need to know what's happening in them.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, flag anomalies, and connect data to business outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and recommendations clearly to non-marketing audiences including OpCo GMs and office leads.
- Self-directed and comfortable working independently in a structured, remote environment.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple OpCos and initiatives without being told what to prioritize.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Preferred
\n
- \n
- Hands-on experience with ServiceTitan, including pulling Campaign Summary Reports and interpreting booking rate and lead data by business unit.
- Experience with project management platforms (Smartsheet, Asana, or similar).
\n
\n
\n
\n
