Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a School Psychologist in an engaging, student-focused environment near Lakewood, OH. This contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through June 1, 2027, offering a Monday through Friday, full-time schedule (40 hours per week), all in-person. You’ll serve elementary-age students (grades 1–4) with varied learning and behavioral needs across a dynamic caseload.
Use your expertise to make a measurable impact, providing psychological and educational assessments, support services, and key insights for individualized education planning. Collaborate with a dedicated team and help shape positive educational journeys for students with diverse abilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential (Ohio preferred)
- Prior experience working in K–12 schools, especially with elementary-aged students
- Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychoeducational assessments
- Familiarity with IEP development, special education compliance, and progress monitoring
- Skill in counseling, consultation, and behavioral intervention
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive academic, emotional, and behavioral evaluations
- Prepare thorough reports and recommendations to support student growth
- Actively participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide on-going consultation and behavioral support to staff, students, and families
- Develop data-driven interventions and monitor student progress
- Ensure precise documentation and adherence to special education guidelines
