Position: Technical Service Representative
Location: Cincinnati area
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday
Compensation: $22/hour (Direct Hire)
Overview:
A growing and well-established manufacturer of food service equipment is seeking a Technical Service Representative to support customers with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and parts ordering. This role combines hands-on technical knowledge with customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot product issues via phone and email using diagnostic techniques
- Assist customers with identifying problems and ordering replacement parts
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge
- Support internal teams and occasionally assist with product training or testing
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and repair teams as needed
Qualifications:
- Electromechanical aptitude (basic diagnostics and repair)
- Experience using tools such as a multimeter
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
