Position Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined Water Purification Technician who will complete a structured apprenticeship program and transition into a leadership role within our technical division. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to develop their skills and take on increasing responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain water purification systems
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment using mechanical and technical knowledge
- Travel daily to customer locations within approximately one hour of Gladstone, MO
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
- Learn and apply water quality standards and system operations
- Progress into a leadership role upon successful completion of apprenticeship
Qualifications
- Moderate to advanced mechanical/technical aptitude required
- Minimum 2 years of plumbing, water quality, or related technical experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to learn and grow into a leadership position
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Semi-flexible hours (greater flexibility as autonomy increases)
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)
