Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid California SLP credential is required
- ASHA CCC certification or strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Background in pediatric speech-language pathology, especially in school-based settings
- Experience or interest in teletherapy platforms preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and effective communication with families and staff
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
- Flexible and adaptable as caseload and student ages may vary
What to Expect Day-to-Day:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, or communication disorders
- Conduct evaluations, interpret results, and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
- Adapt delivery methods as needed, utilizing in-person and teletherapy approaches
