We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to lead the daily operations of a skilled nursing facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for resident care, team development, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily operations of the skilled nursing facility to ensure high-quality resident care and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and state survey requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and support department heads and facility staff
  • Monitor clinical, financial, and operational performance metrics
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve census, employee retention, and overall facility performance
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes
  • Manage budgets, labor costs, and financial operations to achieve facility goals
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, and community partners
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
  • Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally


Qualifications

  • Current Nursing Home Administrator license in North Carolina (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations
  • Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Experience with census development, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
  • Stable work history with demonstrated operational success preferred
