A client of Insight Global is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Manager to lead and support IT operations. In this role, you will oversee all areas of the IT department, including applications support, infrastructure, security, networking, and audit compliance, while ensuring reliable and efficient delivery of IT services across the organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing an IT strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives, cost targets, and IT Standards. Day‐to‐day responsibilities include managing end‐user support and service desk operations, leading incident response efforts in accordance with SLAs, and overseeing system upgrades, migrations, outages, and major IT initiatives. You will manage enterprise applications, data, integrations, and analytics across both on‐premises and cloud platforms, while also evaluating and implementing AI and automation solutions that support manufacturing and business operations. This role ensures compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies, SOX requirements, and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, COBIT, and NIST 800‐53, and serves as the primary IT liaison for IT communications and audits. Additionally, you will hire, mentor, and develop IT staff and external consultants while managing vendor relationships and departmental budgets.
Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
• 7+ of experience in IT services across enterprise environments.
• 2-3 minimum of people management experience.
• Experience operating in compliance-driven environments such as SOX, ISO, or NIST-aligned frameworks.
• Experience managing vendors and managed service providers in hybrid IT models
• Experience with SAP ByDesign (ERP/Procurement), SolidWorks, Product Data Management (PDM), Paylocity, Microsoft 365/SharePoint
• Strong background in end-user support, service desk operations, network operations, and incident response.
• Hands-on technical experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365
• ITIL Foundation certification or demonstrated experience operating ITSM processes.
• Associate's degree in engineering, MIS, Information Systems or computer science.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001, MCSE, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing SaaS applications, integrations, and APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases.
