The Driver Mover plays a key role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of goods using box trucks and vans. This customer-facing position involves driving, loading and unloading heavy furniture, performing vehicle inspections, and assisting customers throughout the moving process. Occasional overnight or long-distance travel may be required, and the role demands physical stamina and a strong commitment to safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks and vans to transport goods safely to designated locations
- Load and unload furniture and other items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent service throughout the move
- Manage inventory and verify all items during loading and unloading
- Adhere to safety protocols and company compliance requirements
- Operate required equipment to facilitate moving and loading tasks
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license

- 1+ years of experience in driving and moving
- High school diploma or equivalent
