Salary: 75-88K Direct hire

Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerWe are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to optimize our plant operations. In this role, you will design, scale, and refine high-volume manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and safety.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Design, evaluate, and improve core production methods including machining, welding, assembly, and material handling.
  • PLC Programming and modification
  • Layout & Workflow Design: Strategize space requirements, workforce utilization, and equipment layouts to maximize efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design teams on product tooling, consult with vendors on equipment procurement, and align with management on production timetables.
  • Data & Forecasting: Apply statistical methods to estimate production times, staffing needs, costs, and future manufacturing capacity.
  • Team Leadership: Build strong relationships with frontline staff and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.


Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or a related field), OR 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of proven engineering experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in 2D CAD, solid modeling, PLC programming, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Soft Skills: Strong internet research skills, a self-starter mindset, and excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with all levels from frontline staff to executive leadership.
