Responsibilities

Sales Client Support

  • Learn how to identify customer insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
  • Assist in generating new business through outbound calls, community networking, and digital outreach
  • Provide exceptional service to prospective and existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention
  • Shadow experienced agents during client meetings, policy reviews, and consultations
  • Follow up with leads, schedule appointments, and track pipeline progress using CRM tools

Training Licensing

  • Participate in structured on-the-job training and mentorship programs
  • Attend regular coaching sessions and team workshops to improve sales and product knowledge
  • Stay up to date on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and compliance regulations

Office Operational Support

  • Assist with preparing quotes, processing applications, and managing client documentation
  • Learn to navigate agency software and underwriting systems
  • Support agency marketing efforts including email campaigns, events, and social media outreach
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the agencys standards of professionalism

Requirements

Must-Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelors degree (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skillsboth written and verbal
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work in a goal-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and meeting with clients
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and CRM tools
  • Must be able to obtain state insurance licenses (Property Casualty and/or Life, Health, and Accident)

Nice-to-Haves (but not required)

  • Sales, customer service, or retail experience
  • Experience working in a performance-based or commission-influenced role
  • Community involvement or leadership background
