Responsibilities
Sales Client Support
- Learn how to identify customer insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Assist in generating new business through outbound calls, community networking, and digital outreach
- Provide exceptional service to prospective and existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention
- Shadow experienced agents during client meetings, policy reviews, and consultations
- Follow up with leads, schedule appointments, and track pipeline progress using CRM tools
Training Licensing
- Participate in structured on-the-job training and mentorship programs
- Attend regular coaching sessions and team workshops to improve sales and product knowledge
- Stay up to date on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and compliance regulations
Office Operational Support
- Assist with preparing quotes, processing applications, and managing client documentation
- Learn to navigate agency software and underwriting systems
- Support agency marketing efforts including email campaigns, events, and social media outreach
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the agencys standards of professionalism
Requirements
Must-Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelors degree (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skillsboth written and verbal
- Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn
- Ability to work in a goal-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Comfortable making outbound calls and meeting with clients
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and CRM tools
- Must be able to obtain state insurance licenses (Property Casualty and/or Life, Health, and Accident)
Nice-to-Haves (but not required)
- Sales, customer service, or retail experience
- Experience working in a performance-based or commission-influenced role
- Community involvement or leadership background
