Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer – Automation opening for our client in Philadelphia, PA.

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 12 months

Pay: Up to $45/hr

W2 Only. No C2C

Duties:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of applications.
Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Develop, maintain, and execute test cases for Sitecore (12k+ cases), Salesforce, and Playwright.
Create and manage automation for test data setup, environment provisioning, and regression testing.
Identify, analyze, and document defects; track and validate resolutions.
Ensure automation solutions align with Agile, DevOps, and containerized delivery models.
Continuously evaluate emerging test automation tools and practices for process improvements.

Skills:

Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools.
Proficiency in test automation scripting using Java, C#, or Python.
Ability to design and optimize test scenarios for large enterprise applications (e.g., Sitecore, Salesforce).
Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, with at least 3 years focused on automation.
Hands-on experience developing and executing large-scale automated test suites.
Prior experience in Agile/Scrum or DevOps-driven environments.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
