About the role:

The role of a Part-time Maintenance employee is to assist with maintaining school grounds and facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and well-kept environment. Responsibilities include routine lawn care (mowing, trimming, edging, and cleanup), minor facility maintenance and repairs, assisting with event setup, and providing occasional custodial support as needed. This role requires dependability, attention to detail, the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, and a commitment to safe work practices.

Minimum Training and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in lawn and grounds maintenance
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with others
• Reliable transportation required
• Basic knowledge of operating hand tools, both manual and electric
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical
• Knowledge of basic math, ability to read and follow instructions, and understand multi-step written and/or oral instructions
