Sr. Oracle Database Administrator
Job Summary
The Senior Oracle DBA is responsible for ensuring the high availability, security, performance, and recoverability of the Client’s critical Oracle relational databases and data marts across both on-premises and Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Database Administration, or equivalent.
- Experience: More than 10 years of dedicated experience conducting enterprise-level Oracle database administration.
Critical Tool Stack & Technologies:
- Architecture Expertise: Extensive experience administering Oracle databases in both standalone and multitenant architectures across Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems
- Database Tools: Oracle Data Guard implementation (High Availability/Disaster Recovery), Recovery Manager (RMAN) backups, Data Pump (export/import), Oracle GoldenGate setup/configuration, and Oracle Client.
- Development & Tuning: Strong SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, query optimization, and job scheduling/monitoring via Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
- Platform Preferences: Direct experience with Oracle version 19c on Linux and MySQL on Ubuntu is highly preferred.
