Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an X-ray Technologist for a day shift contract role requiring 2+ years of Surgery/GI/ER/General X-ray experience and ARRT (R) certification.

- Radiology department setting performing Surgery, GI, ER, and General X-ray procedures
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 07:00-15:30
- 40 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No holiday, floating, or on-call requirements

Requirements\n
- \n
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Surgery/GI/ER/General X-ray required, 4+ years preferred
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required (American Heart or American Red Cross accepted)
- IEMA license required if applicable
- Active state license and certifications required; pending licenses/certifications not accepted
- Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in employment history
- New graduates will not be considered

- 13-week contract, may be shorter if start date is delayed
- First week orientation with 16 non-billable hours
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Returning permanent/per diem staff must be away for 12 months before being considered as a traveler
- Maximum RTO of 7 days for 13-week contracts
- Facility conducts a brief 10-15 minute interview as part of the hiring process
