Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Grounds, Maintenance & Janitorial Technician to handle a wide range of duties including landscaping, general yard work, handyman repairs, facility maintenance, and janitorial cleaning. This role plays a key part in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and overall appearance of the property—both indoors and outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:

Landscaping & Yard Maintenance

• Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, and shrubbery through mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and fertilizing

• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)

• Seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow clearing, or irrigation maintenance

• Maintain walkways, driveways, and outdoor common areas in clean and safe condition

General Handyman & Maintenance

• Perform minor repairs including carpentry, painting, patchwork, and fixture replacements

• Handle basic plumbing and electrical fixes (leaks, clogs, switches, outlets, lighting)

• Maintain fences, gates, locks, doors, and general property infrastructure

• Assist with minor renovation tasks and equipment/furniture assembly

• Identify and report major maintenance needs to supervisor or property manager

Janitorial & Cleaning Duties

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors

• Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust offices, break rooms, and common areas

• Refill soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensers as needed

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of janitorial supply closets

• Follow cleaning checklists and comply with health and safety regulations

General Duties

• Ensure safety and cleanliness throughout property, inside and out

• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and cleaning materials

• Work independently and prioritize daily tasks efficiently

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in landscaping, maintenance, janitorial, or related fields

• Familiarity with cleaning agents, tools, equipment, and safety procedures

• Ability to lift, carry, bend, and perform physical tasks in varying conditions

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work preferred

• Valid driver’s license

• Full-time (may include some weekends, holidays, or on-call availability)
