Job DescriptionAbout OptimaOptima Medical is an Arizona-based medical group consisting of 28 locations and 110+ medical providers, who care for more than 120,000 patients statewide. Our mission is to improve the quality of life throughout Arizona by helping communities "Live Better, Live Longer" through personalized healthcare, with a focus on preventing the nation's top leading causes of death. We go beyond primary care with a full spectrum of services including cardiovascular health services, behavioral health, in-house lab testing, imaging, chronic disease management and other specialty health services. We are seeking a Level 1 IT Specialist to support our clinical and administrative teams. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks while working in a demanding environment.Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot minor IT issues; escalate as necessary.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes, including device preparation and recovery.
- Collaborate with Level 2/3 teams for escalated issues or special projects.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, workstations, and related equipment.
- Travel to clinic locations to perform on-site support as needed.
- Document all issues via a ticketing system.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of related experience.
- Proficient in installing and troubleshooting PC hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Passion for technology and enthusiasm to learn.
Preferred:
- CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco IT certifications or training.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts.
- Experience working in a HIPAA-regulated or healthcare IT environments.
