Job Summary:
Softech-Inc is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives and provide actionable insights that drive business strategy. This role involves analyzing complex datasets, managing large-scale data projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and deliver interactive dashboards and detailed reports for stakeholders using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Interpret data to provide actionable recommendations that align with business goals.
2. Strategic Decision Support
- Partner with business units to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Conduct predictive and prescriptive analyses to forecast outcomes and optimize decision-making processes.
3. Data Management & Governance
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with data engineers to design and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in data governance and security.
4. Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and team members.
- Lead data projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business priorities.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging analytics tools and techniques.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Translate business needs into analytical solutions, ensuring alignment between technical implementation and strategic objectives.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
•5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
•Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
•Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
•Expertise in statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) and familiarity with machine learning frameworks.
•Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
•Demonstrated experience managing large datasets and working with cloud-based data ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications:
•Advanced degree in a relevant field.
•Experience in a specific domain such as finance, healthcare, or e-commerce.
•Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
•Certifications in data analytics, such as Tableau Desktop Specialist or AWS Data Analytics.
