Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Client Coordinator with divorce law or mortgage lending experience to join our growing team. This role is critical to our success—you'll be the first point of contact for clients going through one of the most challenging times in their lives, managing intake, follow-up, and report preparation for our divorce lending services.

Compensation:
$41,600 - $48,500 yearly
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities
Client Intake & Scheduling (30% of role)
- Conduct initial intake calls with prospective clients, collecting necessary information and documents
- Schedule client consultations and manage the calendar efficiently
- Communicate with empathy and professionalism with clients navigating divorce
- Prepare clients for consultations by gathering required financial documents
- Follow up with clients to collect missing documentation
Report Preparation & Document Management (30% of role)
- Draft comprehensive divorce lending reports based on client information
- Review and organize client financial documents
- Calculate income (with training provided)
- Prepare reports for final review and presentation to clients
- Maintain organized digital filing systems
Follow-Up & Client Communication (30% of role)
- Follow up with past clients to maintain relationships and check on their status
- Answer routine client questions and emails
- Track client progress and deadlines in CRM system (Jungo/Salesforce)
- Coordinate with attorneys, divorce professionals, and mortgage team members
- Send reminders for document submissions and appointments
Administrative Support (10% of role)
- Manage phone calls and email correspondence
- Assist with social media content coordination (optional)
- Support general office operations as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Legal background: Experience with family law and divorce proceedings
- Attention to detail: Exceptional accuracy in document review and data entry
- People skills: Warm, empathetic, nurturing demeanor when working with clients in difficult situations
- Technology proficiency: Comfortable learning new software systems (CRM, mortgage platforms, document management)
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Independence: Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with residential mortgage lending and/or real estate
- Basic understanding of financial documents (tax returns, pay stubs, bank statements)
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Jungo, or similar)
- Social media or marketing support experience
- Comfortable with numbers and basic calculations
