Job DescriptionCDR General Services is hiring experienced Pipe Welders / Combo Welders in Plaquemine, LA. Candidates must have strong pipe welding experience and be proficient in both Stick and TIG welding. This is a full-time opportunity supporting industrial projects in the Baton Rouge area.
Job Details

• Location: Plaquemine, LA
• Pay:$ 44–$48 per hour
• Schedule: Full-time

Requirements

• Previous pipe welding experience required
• Must be proficient in Stick and TIG welding
• Must have OSHA Basic
• Must have own toolbox and required hand tools
• Must provide work boots
• Must complete a 10-panel drug screening
• Must be able to pass a 7-year background check
• Must be willing to complete additional project-specific testing when required
• TWIC card is not required but will be accepted if already held

Qualifications

• Strong experience with industrial pipe welding
• Ability to perform Stick and TIG welds to Client standards
• Ability to successfully complete a practical welding test
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and job-site requirements
• Ability to work long shifts depending on project schedule
• Reliable transportation to assigned job sites
• Ability to work independently and as part of an industrial construction team
