Job DescriptionSenior HR Systems Analyst
We are seeking a Senior HR Systems Analyst to serve as a functional and system lead for our enterprise HR technology platforms. This role will support either Talent Acquisition systems or Core HCM systems, depending on experience, and will play a key role in optimizing HR processes, system configuration, integrations, and reporting across the organization.
This is a hands‑on, Senior‑level role focused on system ownership, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional partnership with HR, IT, Payroll, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for HR systems, including Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 (Core HR & Benefits), Infinite BrassRing (Recruiting), and/or Cornerstone OnDemand (Performance & Compensation)
- Lead the design, configuration, and enhancement of HR systems supporting end‑to‑end hire‑to‑retire processes
- Partner with HR stakeholders to translate business needs into effective system solutions
- Configure and support workflows, eligibility rules, security roles, integrations, and reporting
- Collaborate with IT on system interfaces and integrations with Payroll, Finance, and other enterprise systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, data, and interface issues
- Lead system upgrades, module rollouts, and enhancement initiatives
- Own testing efforts for system changes, including unit testing and UAT
- Deliver reporting and insights to support HR operations and decision‑making
- Support data quality, governance, and change control processes
- Act as a mentor and functional lead for HRIS team members as needed
- Manage vendor relationships and support issue resolution and enhancement requests
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10+ years of HRIS experience with increasing responsibility
- Deep hands‑on experience with at least one major HR platform (PeopleSoft, BrassRing, or Cornerstone)
- Strong understanding of core HR processes across the employee lifecycle
- Experience configuring and supporting HR systems, including integrations and reporting
- Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience working cross‑functionally with HR, IT, Payroll, and Finance
- Proficiency with Microsoft O365 and HR reporting tools
Preferred Experience
- Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 Core HR and Benefits
- Infinite BrassRing recruiting workflows
- Cornerstone OnDemand performance or compensation modules
- SQL, PeopleCode, or similar scripting/query tools
- Leading system upgrades, implementations, or major enhancements
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional, technology‑driven environment with close collaboration across HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and external vendors. The position may be hybrid or onsite depending on business needs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
