About the Company
This company is building an AI-native platform that automates fleet operations, eliminating manual work and helping enterprise teams keep vehicles on the road. The platform already supports large U.S. fleets, including Fortune 500 customers, and is backed by top-tier investors. After raising a $5.5M seed round, the team is moving quickly toward a Series A in 2026 and is highly motivated to hire exceptional technical talent.
The Role
We’re hiring a hands-on Head of Engineering to lead technical execution while remaining a core individual contributor. You’ll spend most of your time writing production code across the stack, while also setting technical direction, making architectural decisions, and supporting other engineers through code reviews and mentorship.
You’ll receive high-level product goals and are trusted to independently design, scope, and ship solutions quickly. This is not a people-management role — it’s a leadership-by-example position for someone who thrives in fast-moving, high-ownership environments.
What You’ll Do
Build and ship full-stack features across the core product and AI workflows
Own key parts of the codebase and system architecture
Translate product goals into backend and frontend implementations
Make tradeoffs across speed, reliability, scope, and UX
Set technical standards, review code, and guide execution
Work closely with product and business teams
Touch the full stack: React, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Prisma, AWS
What We’re Looking For
4–7 years of full-stack engineering experience in production
Strong product mindset and end-to-end ownership
Comfort making architectural decisions in ambiguous environments
Experience guiding other engineers without formal people management
Clear communicator with low ego and strong judgment
Interest in automotive, logistics, or operations-heavy systems
