Position Overview

The Technical Analyst Lead provides advanced analytical, technical, and programmatic support for AIP Handbook updates, program reporting, GIS mapping, policy analysis, benefit-cost analysis, and audit-related tasks. This role serves as a senior technical resource and team lead across

Responsibilities

AIP Handbook Support

• Lead technical components of drafting and developing orders.
• Oversee integration of comments, data, training materials, and website content.

Program Reporting, Analytics & GIS

• Lead NPIAS production tasks including data analysis, map development, formatting, and technical review.
• Oversee creation of GIS maps, population coverage analyses, and airport system datasets.
• Lead technical analysis of audit findings and develop recommended solutions.
• Conduct programmatic and regulatory analyses across AIP, PFC, NEPA, Buy American, and other policy areas.
• Lead technical writing, documentation, and quality control of deliverables.

Benefit-Cost Analysis (BCA)

• Conduct and oversee BCAs for LOIs and infrastructure investment programs.
• Develop new models, sensitivity analyses, and evaluation methodologies.
• Ensure alignment with OMB and FAA guidance.
